Plank on Ply: Until now much preferred for installing timber floor, this superior floor installation method can be utilized for installing sturdy and durable bamboo floors. In this technique plywood sheets usually 12 mm thick are nailed and attached to the subfloor with adhesive. Then bamboo boards then secretly nailed and glued to the ply, as it provides easy and comfortable surface for the bamboo boards for installation. Although this is rare installation method not much favored and used, regions with high moisture and homes with small undulation flooring are the preferred locations to use this floor installation method.
Acoubond: Sika International is the company behind inventing this method of installation as it prevents noise to pass one from upper to the lower floor. Usually in high-rise apartments sound absorption system is must therefore using this Acoubond installation method is compulsory in some countries. In this method foam mat is used as undersurface for bamboo floorings on which bamboo boards are laid. Having done this not only, this floor reduces and absorbs noise but it also rectifies surface irregularities in floor.
